    Greg's teacher

    Explanation:

The story entitled "The Treasure of Lemon Brown" centers on the characters of a little boy named Greg and an old man named Lemon Brown. They met at an abandoned house when Greg tried to run away from his dad's lecture because of his poor performance in school. He knew that his dad won't allow him to play basketball.

Lemon Brown talked about a treasure which Greg thought of literally. The treasure he was referring to was actually the clippings that his son was carrying after his son died in a war.

Before that event happened, Mr. Brown was a famous Blues singer. When his wife died, his sister-in-law took care of his son and he didn't get to see him anymore until one day, he happen to know that he died in a war. He then came to know that his son was carrying his old mouth fiddle as well as some clippings-the treasure he was referring to. He realized how much his son loved him.

With that story, Mr. Brown acted as Greg's teacher. He taught him a valuable lesson that every person has a different kind of treasure. So, Greg went back to his father smiling and knowing that he was his dad's treasure too.
