Is the grammar in the sentence correct? Both dragons and griffins is mythological creatures.

    No it is not. Since the sentence is talking about more than one animal, "is" should be changed to "are".

    as we can see there are plural subject so

    Both dragons and griffins are mythological creatures.

    so correct it.
