The Crucible also conveys Miller's views on society because it tells the tales of the Salem witch trials and how it turns the town against each other and the fact that John would not admit he was with so they hung him even though they said if you admit you are which we will not hang you he says I will not just saying my good name just because of the rumors of a little girl so The Crucible on the fact that he believes we put too much emphasis on kids on what kids say also what teenagers say
