The twin Aloadae giants
Explanation:
In Greek mythology when Ares, a god of war, the hated, arrogant god, clashed with two giants, Aloadae brothers, because they wanted to attack Olympus, the house of the Gods, they took him away and held him captive for 13 months. He was released only when mother of two giants found and released him.
It's a kind of paradox because the world was peaceful during this period when he was missing. The reason was that almost no one liked Ares.
