Brands do influence you within the things you buy. A certain store such as forever 21 or H&M for example. These brands influence you by showing you what styles are most worn by celebrities and what is most liked by social media. That brand influences you because the new styles are what hit the stores the most and when seen within social media consumers would want to have the same style as the people they look up to.
