Why do airplanes have black box

    The black box is a flight recorder and a cockpit voice recorder. It is used to record the flight history and the conversations of the pilots. Its main purpose is for figuring out what happened in an accident or a crash, and is usually kept on the tail of the plane for better survival of the box in a crash
