    A story has five basic elements and they are the characters, setting, plot, conflict, and resolution. characters are the people who will be making the story into life. There is a main character where the story will be centered upon and supporting characters. The setting is the location of the action. An author should describe the environment. The plot is the story containing beginning, middle and end. resolution is when the conflict is resolved
