When Gertrude hears the Player Queen say that she will not remarry if her husband dies, Gertrude says, "The lady protests too much, methinks." Explain why this is an example of dramatic irony. Your answer should be at least one hundred words.

    If this is referring to Hamlet, it's because Gertrude remarried right after Old Hamlet, (her late husband) died.
