being happy is a big part in what keeps you going. if you have a miserable job, you wont live contently. even if you make 100k a year, it will mean nothing if you arent satisfied with yourself. taking care of yourself comes first.

I don't think having a successful future entails having a job you dislike and makes you unhappy. The definition of success is more than just a paycheck. Being happy on how you spend your life is the definition of success.
