    Difference between economic activities of western and eastern Europe: Eastern Europe is more dependent on agriculture whereas western Europe is more of an industrial regime. Western Europe has a long shoreline and thus has a large fishing industry. Horticulture and pomology are among the main economic activities of eastern Europe. The automobile industry is one of the most eminent industries in western Europe. The tourism sector is stronger in western Europe compared to eastern Europe.
