In a earthquake - prone area, which earth material - igneous rock or sedimentary rock or sedimentary rock - would be better for constructing building? Explain your answer

    I would say that igneous rock, because when it is fresh and unaltered can be quite tough to withstand shock would be a better construction material. From experience I believe that the large tightly fitting stones of the Inca fortresses were mostly constructed from igneous rock and it usually stands up well in earthquakes in Peru,
