Lines concerning latitude and longitude are applied to determine places on Earth.

    Explanation:

Latitude and longitude are hypothetical (unreal) mark drawn on maps to quickly locate regions on the Earth. Latitude is range north or south of the equator (an illusory circle encompassing the Earth halfway among the North Pole and the South Pole) and longitude is range east or west of the principal meridian (an imaginative line going from north to south by Greenwich, England). Both are estimated in terms of the 360 degrees (expressed by °) of a round.
