    The answer is D.

This is because solar power wouldn't be effective if its location was somewhere with my hours of darkness than light. Wind power wouldn't be effective if placed in a sheltered area. Geothermal energy wouldn't be useful in a cold location. This makes A true.

B & C are true since all three methods of energy don't cause harm to the environment and are sustainable to no end e. g. Solar power from the sun, wind power from the wind and geothermal energy from the earth. All three ways are renewable and sustainable with no harm to the environment.

This is why D is the right answer.
