    Answer: dg=8

    In this question, we are assuming 3 straight segments (de, ef, and fg) connecting d to g.

    Given:

    If de=fg, and de=2 so, therefore, fg is 2.

    We are to find the length of one segment ef to get the length of dg.

    If eg is 2x and fg is 2, then ef is 2x-2.

    If df=4x-6 and de is 2, then ef = (4x-6) - 2

    2x-2 = (4x-6) - 2

    2x = (4X-6) - 2+2

    2x=4x-6

    6=4x-2x

    6=2x

    2x=6

    X=6/2

    X=3

    If x=3, then ef=2x-2

    ef=2 (3) - 2

    ef=6-2

    ef=4

    dg=de+ef+fg

    dg=2+4+2

    dg=8
