Parts of the Jewish covenant with god: The Jewish faith belongs to a group of monotheistic religions, and as such, it advocates the teaching of one God as the central and only authority. All duties, rituals, rules, the way of organization of society arise from one authority and everything is subordinated to him. Thus, and all the actions that God requires to the chosen Jewish nation, through their elected representatives, aim to make an alliance with God, and to perfect the chosen people in faith.
