The partitioned areas became the countries of "Pakistan" and, eventually, "Bangladesh".

    Explanation:

Towards the end of Great Britain's occupation of India, the Muslim population under the "leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah" started raising demand for a "separate country" for Muslims. This resulted in fetching the attention of the British officials towards the possible religious conflicts and outrages in the future of undivided India. To avoid this possible crisis, the British, before the end of their occupation of India, divided India into three major parts, viz. India, East Pakistan and West Pakistan. West Pakistan eventually pulled out of East Pakistan's dominance and became another independent country with the name Bangladesh.
