    Shining Rock Wilderness

    Explanation:

The mountain was originally part of Cherokee up to the time when settlers decided to settle here in 1976. It is, therefore, the "tallest peak" in the wilderness. Along this area is a mountain of Blue Ridge that forms a big "U" The middle of the desert is occupied by west and middle runs which is the only thing that separates the wilderness area.

Even though most mountains are steep and rugged, the shining rock meets the Pisgah ledge in the parts of the south and relatively has high levels of the graveyard and flat laurel creek on both sides.
