    The fossil found on distant continents suggest that these fossils existed in the common place, or same continents which lead to the conclusion that there existed one single and large continent. Example, crocodile fossils were found from Africa & south america, which clearly indicated that these reptiles lived together when Africa & South America were not in different places but together at a common place.

    With time, same type of fossils of plants & animals have been found in many places all over the world which explains that all these distant continents were part of huge continent, which moved across years & from that different continents formed.
