Atlanta, Georgia, has hot summers, with average high temperatures near 90°F. Casablanca, Morocco, is located on the same latitude, but the average high temperature there during the summer is about 80°F. What accounts for this difference in temperature?

    Unlike the first comment. This will make more since Morocco. Is on the west coast of Africa. Since wind blows east. Also mixed with the cool ocean breeze. The temperature decreases. The cold stream the canary, brings cool ocean water down from Europe to Morocco.

    Morocco is located near the sea and this accounts for less extreme temperatures.
