Which imaginary lines divides the earth into south and north latitudes: where is it located?

    Longitudes are the imaginary circles that goes between the North and South Poles, and the Equator. Half of this circle is known as a Meridian. these are perpendicular to every latitude. The Prime Meridian is set as 0° longitude and it divides the Earth into the Eastern and the Western Hemisphere.
