This is because the separation of these nations can be traced back to the independence of India. When India became independent in 1947, Pakistan separated from the new nation. Similarly, when Pakistan gained its independence from India, Bangladesh separated from the new country. Therefore, these two processes can be seen as subsequent and parallel.

Answer:Bangladesh gained independence through a nine month guerilla war against the Pakistan army which resulted in the death of about 3 million people while Pakistan equally gained independence from India through a similar Islamic movement and war demanding for an Islamic state in 1947.
