(FAO) also suggests that aquaculture a farming practice in which there is regular farming of freshwater and aquatic animals like mollusks farming, shrimp farming oyster farming, and agriculture aquaculture and algae culture. As this technique is best suited to the regions that have low or no fish population or have been overexploited. Earlier this culture has also been referred to as "Blue Revolution". About 430 species that were culture back in 2007 have shown significant signs of improvement in past decades making this method popular and successful.
