    Harmful germs such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungi are present in domesticated animals and can cause many types of mild to serious diseases in animals and humans. These germs may spread through direct or indirect contact. The examples of zoonotic diseases are anthrax, plague, brucellosis.
