Why is the climate in Virginia Beach less influenced by the Ocean than San Francisco?

    Answer: The weather in San Francisco comes from over the Pacific Ocean. While of the weather in Virginia comes from the continent.

    Explanation: San Francisco climates is influenced by the Pacific Ocean. The cool breeze current in California comes from up north. Virginia Beach on the other hand is closer to the Atlantic Ocean. But its temperatures resembles that of Wichita than San Francisco. This is because the direction of the winds are going towards the latitude. So the weather in San Francisco comes from over the Pacific Ocean. While the weather in Virginia comes from the continent.
