The ocean is an integral part of the water cycle. Water evaporates from the ocean and forms clouds in the atmosphere through condensation. Ocean currents transport warm water from the equator to the poles and cold water from the poles to the equator. This counteracts to a certain degree the uneven solar radiation on the Earth. Warmer than normal sea temperatures in the Pacific Ocean cases wide-spread changes in the world's climate, called the El Niño.

    Explanation:

Ocean currents play extremely like a conveyor zone, carrying warm water and presumption from the equator approaching the poles and cold water from the poles back to the tropics. Thus, currents improve global climate, encouraging to counteract the leftover combination of solar radiation entering Earth's surface.
