Compare the biomes of Denver and Kansas City, Kansas. Why are they different?

    Denver has a temperate steppe biome. Denver's climate is colder. Denver also has lakes and mountains. Kansas City has temperate moist forest biome. Both places rivers. And I also know that Denver had banned smoking in public places which probably causes it to have better air quality.
