Find the volume of a cylinder with a diameter of 6 inches and a height that is three times the radius. Use 3.14 for pi and round your answer to the nearest hundredth.

    Volume of a cylinder = value of pi * square of the radius*height

    Explanation:

    Radius = diameter / 2

    R = 6inches/2 = 3inches

    Height = 3 times radius

    =3*3 = 9

    Volume = 3.14 * 3*3*9

    =254.34inches cube.
