Ratio between egg parts and Earth's layers is almost identical.

    Explanation:

Earth's layers are crust, mantle and core. Earth's crust is between 20 and 50 kilometers thick (it is divided in continental - thicker and oceanic - thiner). Mantle is around 2,900 kilometers thick and it completely surrounds Earth's core. Core is divided in inner and outer. It's thickness is around 3,500 kilometers. Earth's center is at 6.360 kilometers from the surface,

Hard-boiled egg in cross-section is very sdimilar to Earth's interior. Egg's shell is crust, egg white is mantle and yolk is core. Their ratio is very similar to the ratio of Earth's spheres.
