What are rocks and name the different types of rocks. Explain how they are formed.

Rocks are features of the earth crust. Their are 3 different types of rocks. They are sedimentry, metermophic and igneous rock. All these rocks come in different forms and siezes. Sedimentry rock is formed by cements and sediments. You can find skeletons, shells on the rock. Igneous rock is formed by the cooling of magma. You can find crystels on an igneous rock. Metermophic rock is formed by weathering and erosion and also heat and pressure. you can also find crystels, grantie and pebbles on a metermophic rock.

Metamorphic, igneous, sedimentary. Sedimentary is formed by the cementing of sediment or pieces of rock, shell, etc. igneous is formed by cooling volcano lava/magma. Metamorphic forms when igneous rock is put under extreme pressure and heat.
