Women have had the right to work for quite a long period of time now. Stereotypically, the role of women in the family is to be a housewife and look after the children. This stereotype is slowly diminishing as it is very common for women to pursue their career and educate themselves and have a job. The fact that women are going out and working outside the house is not going to affect the structure of the family greatly. There are many women who are mothers, housewives and have a job. Both the husband and the wife are the breadwinners of the household. The only effect that may take place from both parents working is that the children may feel neglected and unloved.
