What are the differences and similarities between sedimentary rocks and igneous rocks?

    The similarities between sedimentary rocks and igneous rocks would be that both rocks are formed from minerals and the difference would be that igneous rocks are formed by cooling magma on the earth's surface and sedimentary rocks are formed from different combined sediments.
