Challenged by big questions about the origins and evolution of our species, anthropologists not only study stone tools, fossil bones, and genes, but also prehistoric art, including paintings preserved on cave walls for thousands of years. Reflecting on the distant future, 10,000 years from now, do you think anything of significance about you and your culture will be left for future study? If so, what would that be?

    Answer explained

    Explanation:

For the distant future, 10,000 years from now on there are high chances that human species will survive. In that case humans will be in future with different culture which is developed over 10,000 years. On the flip side if due to any natural calamity humans became extinct then it depends on the type of that natural calamity that what remains will be there in the future.

Suppose the humans extinct because of volcanic eruption then we may found human or creations of human preserved in the volcanic rock. If human extinct due flood because of global warming then it may be possible to find the human remains at the bottom of ocean. What will be preserved and what will be perish depends upon the way of destruction or the way humans extinct,

It is also possible that human species already knew that the natural calamity is coming and avoid it using the scientific advances currently present or developed in the near future. Human species can leave earth to habitat another planet to avoid extinction. But in that case also the remains of human creation will be on Earth to tell about humans were dwellers of the Earth.

Observing the current environmental issues on planet earth there are possibilities that we will face huge natural calamities in near future. If human species can avoid those calamities or survive them then future will have everything like it is now. If humans extinct then there will be human and human creation remains to tell the story of human survival and extinction.
