The process of differentiation refers to the separation of Earth into the core, mantle, and crust.

    Explanation:

The Earth was a burning sphere around 4.5 billion years ago. Later, through a process called 'Runaway Accretion', the heavier and larger debris clustered together at the center of this burning sphere to form the inner core of the Earth. The outer layer of the Earth was formed due to the cooling down of the Earth's surface by the rains that poured down for millions of years continuously. The middle layer of the Earth, known as the mantle, constituted of the residual semi-solid material that flows between the uppermost and the lowermost layer. This entire process of separation of planetary materials and the formation of the layers of Earth is called 'Differentiation'.
