How are chloroplasts and mitochondria different from the other organelles?

    Chloroplasts and the mitochondria, unlike all other organelles, are involved the the use and creation of ATP. They are the only two that deal with energy.

    The contain their own DNA, not relying only on the DNA contained in the cell's nucleus.
