What kind of sediment consists primarily of mineral grains that were eroded from rocks on land?

    These would be clastic sedimentary rocks like sand, conglomerate, shale and silt stone ie that are formed of fragments or broken pieces of pre-existing rock as opposed to a chemical sediment like a limestone that may be formed from the shells of marine organisms for example.
