Two main rivers divide Europe: the Danube and the Rhine. The Rhine River is Europe's most important trade routes, for transportation of cargos. The Danube has a key role in the establishment and political evolution of central region and southeastern Europe. The banks associated with it, aligned with castles and fortresses, made the boundary of realms, and its waters played a vital role in commercial highway between countries.
