Divergent Boundaries are boundaries where plates pull away from each other, forming mild earthquakes and causes magma to come to the surface

Convergent Boundaries are boundaries where two plates are pushing in to each other and colliding. Because this happens the pressure and friction is great enough to make earth's mantle melt causing earthquakes and volcanoes to happen.
