The city of Ankara is the "centrally located capital" of Turkey.

    Explanation:

After the fall of the historic Ottoman Empire, Ankara was named as the new capital of Turkey on 23rd October 1923 by the first president of modern Turkey, "Mustafa Kemal Ataturk". One of the major reasons behind declaring Ankara as the capital of modern Turkey was the location of the city. Ankara is situated in the central Anatolia region of Turkey which more or less forms the central part of the country.
