What is high and low tide and what happens during them?

    The rise and falls of seal levels are called tides. It caused by the combined effects of gravitational forces exerted by moon, sun and rotation of the earth. When the water reaches its highest level it reaches high tide. While water stops falling, it reaches low tide.
