    Convergent boundary are areas where tectonic plates collide. These are also known as destructive boundaries because of the Earthquakes occur, and the strongest ones at that. Because of heat and pressure, A subduction zone is what you call the area where two plates meet. The largest types of eathquakes occur on the interfaces of subduction zones.
