    Erosion is the geological process in which Earth's surface is worn down by natural forces.

    they can not only create formations such as the Grand Canyon, but we can also see loss of nutrients in soil due to wind erosion carrying it away. Additionally, mountain tops wear down, hills begin to flatten, and etc.
