Why does so much of the region (Southeast Asia) have a tropical climate?

    This is due to its place on the surface of the earth. Becuase it is just above the equator, the moist air flows into that latitude. This causes a tropical enviorment like many other regions with the same equitroal location like the south american rainfirests
