An inactive volcano that occurs along the crest of the mid-ocean ridge.

    Explanation:

A seamount is formed by the deposit of lava of an active volcano, that in the future when the volcano is inactive, becomes a mountain of solidified lava, under the sea. These volcanoes are along the mid of the ocean ridge because this is the place where the tectonic plates are apart allowing the magma to go up.
