How does latitude impact the temperature of a place?

A. The high latitude regions have cool to bitterly cold temperatures.

B. The high latitude regions have warm to extremely hot temperatures.

C. The low latitude regions have cool to bitterly cold temperatures. * my guess*

D. Latitude has no effect on the region.

    The 'high latitude regions' have cool to bitterly 'cold temperatures'.

    Explanation:

    The higher latitudes receive comparatively 'less insolation' than the lower latitudes. The slanting rays of the Sun that fall on the higher latitudes have to travel a greater distance after penetrating the atmosphere which makes them weaker. The sunrays falling on the higher latitudes deliver less heat. That is particularly why the higher latitudes have cooler temperatures than the lower latitudes where the insolation is higher.
