    The correct answer is b. It's annual per capita GNP is less than that of the Guianas.

    This is a false statement, if we take into consideration the latest updates for both of the countries as relevant. Even though Venezuela is not considered as a developed country, it still has a solid 88% of the world average for the GNP per capita. Venezuela's GNP per capita is 11,760 USD (2013), which is little over two and a half times more than the Guianas, which has 4,240 USD per capita (2016).
