Which BEST describes the connection between population distribution and natural disasters?

Natural disasters occur most often near bodies of water, which is where large concentrations of a population are often located.

Natural disasters shift the population distribution in a region as the disaster may displace large segments of the population.

Areas with a low frequency of natural disasters are likely to have a highly concentrated population.

The occurrence of natural disasters in an area has little connection to the population distribution.
