Which of the following demographic characteristics distinguishes Europe's population from that of Asia?

    The correct answer is - Europeans are more concentrated in urban areas.

    Most of the population in Europe is living in urban areas, and that process of people moving into the urban areas had started with the industrial revolution. In same parts of Europe it was quicker, in some slower, but in general, most of the population in nowadays living in the urban areas.

    Asia, on the other side, still has massive percentage of people living in rural areas. Even though there are exceptions, like Japan, Singapore, the Arabian Peninsula, still big portion of the continent has population that is rural, where the living conditions are anything but good, and it seems like the time stopped there. India, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, are the parts where the rural population is still massive.
