How does the gravitational force exerted by the Earth on the sun compare with the gravitational force exerted by the sun on Earth?

    The gravitational force is directly proportional to the mass of the planet and vice versa.

    Explanation:

    The mass of the sun is much bigger than of its earth so the gravitational forced exerted by earth on the sun is far less than the gravitational force exerted by Sun on the earth. Hence, greater the mass, greater the gravitational force.
