The length of the year would be longer.

    Explanation:

If the earth tended to rotate every 48 hours as compared to the 24-hour format then with respect to the sun the earth rotation would be considered fast and double and thus day would be short but the length of the year would be larger as earth will complete its revolution after 48 hours. This would lead to more stronger earthquakes stronger floods and drastic changes in the climate of place on various altitudes. Loner summer and longer winters combined by the two-period revolution around the sun. Most of the earth's atmosphere would be affected and the navigation system of the earth would double itself.
