The techniques for creating 3-D illusion are as follows:

    1. Atmospheric perspective:

This technique based on the fact that when objects goes far then their clarity of definition and surface contrast diminish. It is also called aerial perspective. This method is used to creating a illusion in painting, in depth etc.

    2. Overlapping:

As its name stands that one object is placed on the other object then this is known as overlapping. This technique is very simple technique to produce illusion. In this technique one contour is placed on the other contour.

    3. Hue value:

This technique give the ideas that object is far or near. Value can be defined as the relative darkness or lightness of a color. value is is very important for designer because it create the spatial illusion. Hue is used for pure spectrum color and hue refereed by color name like blue, orange, red, yellow green, violet. These colors appear in the hue circle.
